Program

A Structured Path Back to Family and Community

Our Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) uses evidence-based therapeutic methods and a highly structured daily environment to address the root causes of risky behavior.

Our Facilities

How Our Program Works

Every resident’s journey begins with a comprehensive intake assessment, forming the foundation of an individualized treatment plan that guides every aspect of their care.

01 24-Hour Structured Milieu

Round-the-clock supervision and support from a multidisciplinary care team ensures residents always have access to the help they need,  any hour of the day or night.

02 Individualized Treatment Plans

Each resident’s plan is developed collaboratively and addresses their specific challenges,  whether substance abuse, low self-esteem, delinquency, gang involvement, or family breakdown. Plans are reviewed and updated regularly as residents progress.

03 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Our evidence-based, CBT-grounded curriculum teaches residents how to recognize harmful thought patterns, deconstruct destructive habits, and replace them with healthier, more sustainable behaviors.

04 Group Discussions & Workshops

Regular group sessions provide a structured space for youth to process experiences, develop communication skills, and learn from peers in a safe, facilitated environment.

05 Substance Abuse Prevention

Our programming specifically addresses drug and alcohol use by providing tools to understand triggers, build resilience, and develop long-term strategies for sobriety and wellness.

06 Mental Health Services

Through contracts with LA County and Kern County, residents access social work, psychological counseling, and psychiatric services as needed. We have a psychiatrist on staff.

07 Family Engagement & Reunification

Family visits are actively encouraged at our facilities or in the family home. Our goal is always to reconnect youth with healthy family systems and prepare everyone for a successful transition home.

08 Education & Daily Living

We provide housing, meals, clothing, and school support,  giving residents the stability every young person needs to focus on growth rather than survival.

09 Rehabilitation

Our rehabilitation programming focuses on basic life skill development, helping residents rebuild healthy routines, personal responsibility, and the everyday competencies they need outside our facilities.

10 Case Management

Dedicated case managers coordinate the full scope of each resident’s care,  working with referring agencies, schools, courts, and families to keep every milestone aligned with the individualized treatment plan.

11 Mentorship

Trusted adult mentors walk alongside each resident, modeling positive decision-making and providing consistent, caring presence that helps young men build self-worth and envision a healthier future.
